Intercomp Group was established in 1980 and is one of Malta’s leading IT organisations. It is the DELL Authorised Distributor for the territory, as well as a HP Preferred Partner. Intercomp is also the Nokia Authorised Distributor for Malta.  Besides distribution and installation of full IT solutions covering hardware and bespoke software, the Group provides full support services and is also active in a number of ancillary activities such as paper handling, Smart Card technologies, MICR document printing, networking solutions and mobile communications.

Intercomp Softweb Ltd, is a member of the Intercomp Group of Companies specialising in software development. With over twenty years of experience we provide an efficient service to our clients for software/hardware solutions, training and IT administration services as well as web based solutions. Backed by Intersystems and Microsoft Certified development and support team, our software solutions cover a vast range of business sectors.

Intercomp achieved International Standards Organization (ISO) registration for its management, administrative, information technology services, software development, and maintenance in September 1998. Auditor British Standards Institute, Inc. (BSi) found Intercomp to be within compliance of the ISO 9002:1994 standard; and in July 2003 successfully achieved ISO registration for ISO 9001:2000 standard. Standards compliance is becoming a necessity and the mark of success, and certification was a significant milestone for Intercomp in its quality management system and continuous process for improvement. BSi periodically evaluates Intercomp`s Quality Program organisation, management, process documentation, training and quality records for objective evidence of compliance to the standard. Staff is also interviewed to assess their personal commitment to continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

	Since March 2009, Intercomp Softweb Limited achieved a further certification through BSi in TickIT - the quality-management certification program for software development.
Due to this achievment, the methodologies being used have been enhanced therefore allowing Softweb to deliver projects on time and within budget to the benefit of the client.
